Day 7: Quick Cardio & Abs

On Day 6, I woke up with massive back pain so I didn’t work out (which was yesterday – Saturday). Today I did some more Turbo Jam – A quick 20 min cardio workout and Ab Jam, which is 20 minutes of Ab work standing up and on the mat. I definitely got a lot out of both workouts and really pushed myself. I totally feel accomplished and although my back pain still lingers, hopefully the workout helped.

ON Chocolate Mint Whey ProteinToday I bought a Multivitamin (Women’s One A Day) and ON Whey Protein Powder in Chocolate Mint Flavor. I never tried Whey Protein Powder, and decided to make it part of my diet as well. I know because of this I am getting more serious about losing some weight and getting fit. I’ll admit my midsection needs a lot of work and the next few weeks I hope that with exercise and eating (note I don’t say diet because diets to me don’t work) right will shrink that area that I hate so much right now.

I joined a Fitness Forum on Friday and hopefully will learn a lot from there as well! :)
