Day 8: Cardio Day

Arc TrainerToday I did cardio, and I had energy to actually run most of the 30 minutes I had planned to run, but a cramp on the right side of my stomach stopped me from doing so. I had drunk water and a protein shake in the morning, so I wasn’t sure why I was cramping up so much. Maybe I didn’t warm up enough. I was only able to do 15 minutes of treadmill jogging and then I switched to this other machine called the Arc Trainer and kept the resistance low to ease the cramp. Towards the end of the 15 minute set I had increased the resistance up a notch and it definitely was tough. But the workout was definitely a great one, despite that cramp I had. Got home and made myself a protein shake with ice, some strawberries and soy milk, and it came out pretty yummy. :)

I measured my waist today and it’s at 33 inches. I know that I haven’t really set any goals here so I’m going to start. I want to get to 26 inches in my waist, so that 7 inches to lose. So the journey begins…
