Spice It Up To Stay Slim
I recently read an article in Self magazine about how adding spiciness to your food can help you stay slim. I’m not a big fan of spiciness but I decided to give it a try and it did help me. I had a slice of cheese pizza and usually I would have eaten 2 slices, but this adding red pepper to it definitely proved the fact that adding some spice helps you get full faster.
According to the article, adding 2 teaspoons of dried red pepper on food can help consume fewer calories and fat. Another spice called curcumin, which is a yellow spice, helps reduce inflammation and aids muscle repair after heavy exercise. Curcumin also sweeps out plaque deposits in your brain which may help stave off Alzheimer’s disease. I’m a big fan of Indian spices, so this is no problem for me!
Next time you eat something, add some spice to it…it’ll definitely help you out in the long run and perhaps make something taste a lot better!

I am a large fan of spicy food. Maybe that is why I tend to be skinny. Of course, I still eat way more than other people, so that probably isn’t it.
I attribute my desire for spicy food to my lack of a sense of smell. I like to taste my food.

I’d definitely eat a lot more spicy food if I could bear the spicyness… I’m trying to build a tolerance…
