5 Reasons Why You Should Work Out At The Beach

Beach RunningI love beach days. I love going to the beach because it’s close by and you feel like you’re on a mini vacation. Some people aren’t that lucky to live nearby a beach, and realizing that makes me value that I can go to the beach pretty much whenever I want. I’ve only tried running at the beach once, and it definitely works you out! If you’re bored with your workouts and want to try something new, try the beach! I compiled a list of why you should work out at the beach…

5 Reasons Why You Should Work Out At The Beach
1) The sand gives you more of a challenge when you run or even walk. It’s really good for your legs and all over.
2) You can work out in the water (just be careful of jellyfish!). Swimming is a great way to exercise arms and great cardio workout.
3) Activities such as volleyball and frisbee gives you a workout for your arms and upper core.
4) You can be in a bikini/swimming trunks and you won’t look silly exercising.
5) When you’re finished you can just relax and lay out in the sand!! My favorite part.

Of course, make sure you’re prepared with plenty of sunscreen on since you’re outdoors! I never leave home without it! :)
