This week was definitely a long one for me, for my day job, that is. I’m so glad that it’s Friday and get 2 days off to relax. So as delivered every Friday, here are what other fitness and health related bloggers are discussing in the blogosphere.
This Mama Cooks! has an interesting post about healthy carb/low GI pasta and it’s interesting how I found this post because I had pasta today for lunch, and it wasn’t regular pasta, it was wheat pasta which is better to consume than the regular pasta since it has more carbs. Also, it doesn’t taste any different than regular pasta which makes you feel less guilty.
I love lists, especially tips on motivating myself to live a healthy lifestyle. Food Fit has 11 great tips to get motivated to exercise.
GoWorkoutMom has a really great post of 5 Key Actions that Maximize Time. I definitely can learn a thing or two about maximizing my time. There are days when I feel like I don’t have enough time to do everything I want. Organization is definitely key…and something I need to work on.
I have to admit that I do enjoy beef from time to time. Although I eat more poultry and fish, it doesn’t hurt to mix it up with some beef once in a blue moon. Trying Fitness has a breakdown of all the different cuts of beef and how much fat and protein are in each. Definitely good to know!
Hopefully I can squeeze in a run outside this weekend, if it doesn’t rain out. I definitely want to spend time outdoors and enjoy the fresh air since I’ve been in an office all week! Have a happy and healthy weekend everyone!
