So yesterday I lost my job. I didn’t work out at all yesterday because I was looking for a job online from the time I got home until I couldn’t stay awake anymore. Today, I woke up at 6am and realized that I no longer have to get up to go to work. I went for a walk with my boyfriend this morning and we did about a 2 mile walk in his neighborhood. The rest of the day, and until now, I have been online looking for a new job. It really isn’t easy, in fact, it makes me sad. I just hope I find something soon, because bills don’t pay themselves.
I know that I have been neglecting this blog and I don’t mean to. When things like this happen, you really just have to look forward and think about what’s to come.

Sue, I’m so sorry to hear this! You are right though–a positive attitude is so important, especially when things like this happen. Take the time you need to take care of yourself.
Sorry to hear about your job. I know there are a lot of jobs on Sun-Sentinel’s job search website, you might want to check that out. Also, although this won’t help you with your job, it does relate to money. Here are two finance blogs I like to read, http://bostongalsopenwallet.blogspot.com/
and http://www.getrichslowly.org
Good luck with the job search!
Sue,
I’m sorry to hear that. Good luck in your search.
I’d take this as an opportunity to get some mid-day workouts in. You’ll have an easier time looking for a job if you have a good break in the middle of your day to re-energize yourself.
