How Many Calories Do You Burn?

I was browsing the WebMD site to educate myself on one of my favorite subjects – health and fitness, of course and found this interesting tool. It determines how many calories you burn doing a certain activity. I thought it was really interesting. I looked up how many calories I spend sleeping and here were the results:

 You can pretty much find out how many calories you burn doing the most common things such as, bicycling, running, walking, sleeping and sitting down reading.

I put in my 50k race time from last September. Calories Burned: 4075

No wonder I was so hungry when I got done running.

This is a great site – I will be checking out my calories burnt this week by activity. Hoepfully should see some interesting results.
