I love Green Tea, so much that I would go to Starbucks to get a Grande Iced Green Tea with 2 Splenda. As much as I love Starbucks, it gets quite expensive! For someone who is watching their money these days, I decided to find an alternative that I can live with daily. Thankfully, I found Lipton’s Green Tea To Go Iced Tea Mix, which is portioned to a water bottle. So all you do is empty the small packet into a water bottle, shake and you got sweetened (with Splenda) Green Tea.
The great thing is that it’s Sugar Free (I love Splenda!), has no calories, no sodium or carbs. And each serving contains 80mg of antioxidants, which are good in protecting your insides. It’s an easy, not to mention cheaper, alternative to going to Starbucks every day.

You might find it even cheaper and even healthier to go to a whole foods store and buy natural, organic green tea leaves, then make your own blend in a pitcher and leave it in the fridge. Be careful about all the big beverage comapanies, they tend to cut costs by cutting on quality…you may not be getting all you bargained for with Lipton.
I don’t trust splenda; I figure that 10 years down the road they are going to link it to cancer, just like everything else. I don’t really like sweet foods or beverages, though, so it’s no loss to me.
I don’t drink iced green tea, but I make hot green tea pretty regularly.
I’m quite the Starbucks green tea addict myself, but I use the raw sugar instead of the artificial stuff as it is much healthier. One packet is only 20 calories and it’s raw.
I do what White Tea mentioned too. During summer, I make a big vat of sun tea and keep it in the fridge. It’s so easy.
I love green tea too, but I’m not a big fan of the lipton stuff. I guess i just like taking my time brewing it up.
