End of the Week Fitness Update
So this week wasn’t too bad, but I know it could have been better in terms of exercise. I was able to work out 4 out of the 5 days I had planned to.
Monday’s workout consisted of a 15 min run/walk on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the elliptical.
Tuesday’s workout consisted of light strength training, mostly arms. I also accidentally sprained my ankle so there was no way I was going to do any high impact exercise.
Wednesday my ankle was feeling better but I figured I shouldn’t push it, so I went to the gym and did 15 minutes on the stationary bike and 10 minutes on the rowing machine.
Thursday I ended up running around with my dogs and playing tug of war with my Pitbull. So I counted that as a workout which was for about 20 minutes.
As far as my food intake, I explored a bunch of different foods, notably the organic and natural foods. I am really starting to LOVE Whole Foods and the different varieties of food they sell. I love the free samples too. I was starving when I got there one day and snacked on some crackers to hold me over until my meal, which was a cup of Butternut Squash soup. I also tried an all fruit smoothie which had mangoes, apple juice, bananas and fresh coconut. I’ve been also portioning my food when I eat home cooked food, so I’m happy with my eating this week.
Next week’s a whole other week! Looking forward to it! ![]()
