Naked Smoothies Keep You Full

by Sue on March 19, 2008

Naked JuiceOn my quest to trying new foods, I found this one to be interesting. Naked Juice. You can find this in grocery stores in the juice aisle. When I can’t get to Whole Foods since it’s far, I go to the “Greenwise” sections of the local grocery store, which are the organic/healthy food areas. I’ve recently become a fan of smoothies, and although Naked Juice is pretty pricey, it’s worth it, and it keeps you full. It’s pretty much like taking in your daily dose of fruit, but in the convenience of a bottle. These juices are made of natural fruit, and sugar free…and there are so many different flavors, you’re likely to find something you’ll like. I’m a strawberry/banana and mango fan, so of course those were the 2 flavors I tried, and I’m looking forward to trying other flavors.

You can learn more about Naked Juice at their website… there is a lot of information!

interesting, but I’ve never got into these kind of drinks. I’d rather make my own. I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Interesting, never heard of this drink. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll have to see if I can find it locally.

I dont do well with these kind of drinks (homemade or bottled) as they have so many carbs they plunge me down the SUGAR CRAVING SUPER HIGHWAY.

not you?

I really think it *is* just the MizFit :)

I agree with MizFit, the juices have a hell of a lot of calories from simple carbohydrates. Yes there is no “added” sugar, but all the major fruits in the products have a lot of sugars themselves. Plus there is no or little fiber. You would be much better off eating the fruit and drinking water or tea.
Also the website is dreadful. Trying to be very cool and making it hard to find any real info.

I like the sound of this drink – and if it is too sweet I would just dilute with water. I already do this for my kids with the fruit juice we currently buy so that we keep their sugar amounts low.

Hey Genius, there’s a difference between “Sugar Free” and “No Sugar Added.” These drinks have a LOT of sugar in them. Usually more than 50 grams per bottle!
