Today is International No Diet Day, which declares a “day off” of weight and food obsession. A lot of people are affected by how much they weight and their eating habits, so take the day off and enjoy the way you look now.
In my opinion, dieting should be something we do because we want to be healthy, not to be dangerously skinny.

I couldn’t agree with you more about wanting to be healthy instead of dangerously thin.
I also think having a cheat day once in a while is a good thing.
Great site… I look forward to reading more.

yayy! what a day to mark on the calendars
Excellent! Now I have an excuse for being bad today!
I have a dream that this shall be EVERY DAY….some day.
could it be every day?
I didn’t know that this day existed, but I will take one day off (my diet is very good) and eat some chocolate
Great site and lovely idea – shame I missed it – oh well never mind.
Woohoo! I’m in!
I think “No Diet Day” comes around multiple times a month for me.
Well it was more like No Diet Year for me. Guilt
You make an excellent point here about being healthy. One of the reasons I try not to use or abuse the word “diet” is because my clients tend to think “food deprivation” instead of nutrition. Happens to me too- when I say I’m on a diet suddenly I feel the need to go out and pig out. I like the site.
I always give myself at least one day off a week!
Chocolate, here I come
It is therefore very important to create a balance between exercise, rest and diet to stay healthy and fit. Exercising too much and eating too little will not do you any good so forget about reducing your food and fluid intake to reduce your body size and weight fast. You will get sick if you do that.
