I wish I could have the discipline to wake up at 5 too! I never feel I get the time I need for myself in the morning to do some yoga and make my own breakfast. I can't seem to sleep untill 12:30 or wake up any earlier than 8:00! I think my only solution is to start working freelance. My health suffers because of my job. I never workout and I'm eating less healthy foods that I can purchase nearby the office! It is ridiculous we have to work on a schedule! I mean aren't we adults? shouldn't we be in charge of our day and work when we want!? I want to be recognized for my results not my hours I put in!

Getting to bed early is always the one I struggle with. There's always some distraction more interesting than sleep :-).

I have no problem with preparing my lunch though. In fact I can't believe so many people don't prepare their lunch. There must be one other guy in my office apart from me who brings a packup. Everyone else just goes out and buys something. I really can't get my head around it because it costs sooo much more money to buy a sandwich which you can quite easily prepare at home for a fraction of the price.

Anyway, I'm getting a bit of topic here. I think the two things I would most like to add to my daily routine are getting to bed at a reasonable time and stretching everyday. I used to be quite flexible but got out of the habit of stretching then never managed to get back into it.

I agree with AWLC. I eat the least at night . I have a concern with workout in the morning. Won't it drain the energy you will be needing for the rest of the day? And why is evening workout a no-no for you?

I'm with you, If I could pack my lunch everyday that would be a start. I would also like to stop eating so late at night.

Sleep and food with exercise is the only way. No pill, book video, or infomercial can do it. It is hard and no fun. It takes work and patience.
