Even More Reason to Keep at It!

by Sue on October 7, 2008

Last week was probably the best week’s for me.  Got a promotion at work, had a memorable 26th birthday and the most exciting part of it all, I got engaged!

After almost 4 years of being with my boyfriend, he proposed to me on my birthday at the beach and I have to say it was the most happiest day of my life!  I still can’t believe that I’m engaged and we’re planning a wedding.  We’re going to get married in early 2010 so we have more than enough time to save money and plan accordingly.

By the way my birthday dinner was spent at Seasons52 which is a restaurant which has entrees that are 475 calories each! Their flatbread was very good and light too. I think I may have eaten too much and ended up taking my entree home.  The desserts were in shot glasses making it really hard to say no to.  I had one and it was yummy! :) Overall the dinner was great and I definitely would go back there again!

So as for keeping at my routine I find myself working out in the beginning of the week but then I kind of taper off. I’m really trying to work out at least 4 times a week. I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else, but I guess there is more reason to keep at working out and eating right now that I am going to get married! :)

Happy birthday and congratulations Sue. On the fitness front I think it’s inevitable that our routine tapers off from time to time. What’s important is that you make the commitment to get back on it. Shouldn’t be a problem now you have the added motivation of getting married :-)
