Looking Forward To The Days Ahead

So the people have spoken and we have ourselves a new elected president!  I’m by no means a hardcore political person but I am really glad with the outcome of this election.  I just watched Obama’s speech online a while ago, (since I couldn’t stay awake any longer) and it made me realize how lucky I am to be an American.  I’m also looking forward to the days ahead and how the future is going to be once Obama is in the White House.

I was so anxious and excited I couldn’t get myself away from the TV and the internet watching the electoral votes coming in one by one once I got home from work!  I think everyone in the US was like me on Election Day!  Voting in FL made me feel like I made a difference and I’m glad I did it!

Today, once I got home from work I wasn’t feeling too well.  I was planning to work out when I got home, but I think I caught a bug from a coworker because I had a sore throat and really bad headache.  Instead of feeling bad about not working out I told myself that its ok because its better to get rest and not dwell on not working out.  Fortunately Glen came to the rescue and got me some soup, Gatorade and vitamin C.  I’m feeling a little better, but I’m going to go and rest and hope this bug goes away by the morning.  Good night!
