Resisting Temptations

This weekend I have to say majority of it was spent cleaning the apartment.  Even though our place isn’t huge, its still quite a task.  I have to admit I’ve never done such a thing before since this is really the first time I’m living on my own.  An actual home.  Not a dorm.  Anyways, I vacuumed and mopped, and cleaned the toaster oven that was long overdue for a cleaning, and let me tell you, that wasn’t a quick task.  I guess you can somewhat consider that a mini workout, if  you will.

So after the morning of cleaning I had to deposit a check at the bank and by then it was lunchtime.  I’m lucky enough to have a variety of different places to get lunch from.  I was heading towards Five Guys Burgers and Fries, when I decided to turn around and leave and instead go to Field of Greens, which is a salad/wrap place.  I ended up getting a Chicken Caesar salad instead of the yummy cheeseburger and fries that were calling my name.  I even got an all fruit smoothie from Jamba Juice.  I know it may not sound like much to some of you but for me I was pretty darn proud of myself.

Besides that I’ve been really thinking about stretching lately.  At hip hop dance class we always warm up by stretching and I find myself not as flexible as the other girls in my class.  Is it because I don’t stretch often, or I’m just out of shape?  I decided that I will try stretching more when I’m at home because I really don’t like the fact that I’m not flexible.  Thoughts?
