So watch out for the chicken meals listed below:

9.5-ounce packages of “Lean Cuisine Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta” brand frozen meals. Printed on each side of each package is a production code of “8280595912,” as well as a use-by date of “Best Before MAY 2010.”

What a busy week! I finally figured out my running schedule, my hardest run will be on the weekend and my lighter runs will be Mondays and Wednesdays. So I’m looking forward to running at the beach tomorrow! Since the weather is cooler, it’ll definitely be easier to run.

Anyway, here are what other bloggers are discussing in the blogosphere:

A new blog I discovered called Diet Hack has some really good tips. I can relate to this post, which discusses how to stay healthy at your workstation. I’m sure most of us can!

Workout Mommy is hiring a personal trainer, and gives some tips on what to consider if you want to hire a personal trainer. Personal training is definitely important and you should have the best for your fitness needs.

Trying Fitness writes about the effects of overtraining when you workout. I think this was a great post and a very important thing to keep in mind when you’re working out.

Have a great weekend! Stay warm!

Another week comes to end and I’m looking forward to the weekend because I’m going to start training for another race (not competitive, but for my personal achievement of course)! I’m pretty excited about getting back into training for a race again. Runners World has some great stuff on training tips and great tools for a runner like me. I just hope that I can build up more endurance to be able to handle the longer distance that I plan to run.

Anyway, as I always deliver on Fridays, here are what other bloggers are discussing around the blogosphere:

FitSugar is giving away 5 $100 gift cards to Whole Foods! You know I’m going to try to win me one. You must be a registered user and take a quiz, but just by taking the quiz you’ll be entered to win, no matter how many you get right or wrong. I got 2 out of 5 right, but I’m not much of a celebrity watcher, haha.

Trying Fitness gives a great explanation about posture and how to improve it. I am guilty of poor posture, especially when I’m at the computer. I like to lean over and look at the monitor when I’m really intrigued or concentrated on something I’m reading or working on. Bad, I know!

Run To Win talks about the recent death of a professional long distance runner, Ryan Shay. In recent news there has been a lot of athletes admitting to drug use, and Blaine’s post talks about the fact that drugs to enhance performance is nothing new and makes it unfair to assume all athletes are like this because there are honest ones out there.

World Fitness Network has a great post on weight lifting and gives a better understanding about each component that a barbell has. I know I wonder about how to use these weights because they look pretty intimidating to a weight lifting beginner.

The weather is great here, it’s pretty chilly, which is the perfect running weather. I’m so looking forward to running along A1A. It’s a road right alongside the beach.

Honestly, I am somewhat disappointed in myself that I’ve fell off my working out and eating right and I really do want to change that. October was a pretty stressful month, and I have to get used to so many new things that it totally makes me feel exhausted by the end of the day! I really want November to be my getting back to it month, so planning is very important, and I have the weekend to do it, along with getting some R&R.

Here are what other blogs in the blogosphere are discussing about:

FitSugar posts about the ban of iPods and MP3 players at marathons or races by the USA Track and Field Association. In my opinion, I’m totally against this because music, to me at least motivates me! I’ll never forget the first song I was listening to when I ran my first 5k race: Kanye West’s Stronger. It totally pumped me up and the other songs made me feel motivated to finish.

Back In Skinny Jeans discusses easing into living healthy to swan diving into it. Her advice is definitely on point and with experience you definitely have to ease into it. Changing your lifestyle like this is definitely tough, and keeping at it is a whole other animal. I totally am determined it could be done, for me, that is.

Workout Mommy explains the power of the pushup and how to exactly do one correctly. The idea is definitely simple, but the right form isn’t. I remember when I was younger I could do pushups forever! Now, it’s not so easy, but they’re a great exercise for the arms and overall body. And, they can be done anywhere!

Trying Fitness brings up an important question: How do you know you’re doing an exercise correctly? I am always aware of this and make sure I’m doing my workouts correctly. Otherwise, what’s the point? It’s not helping you much, right?

This week has brought a lot of great posts on the web! Have a great weekend, and don’t forget to turn your clocks back tomorrow night! Yay, an extra hour of sleep!

Another week, and did it go fast!! I think I was pretty productive this week, and the weather got cooler. Today’s my boyfriend’s birthday, so I’ll be celebrating with him this weekend.

Here are what other bloggers are discussing in the blogosphere:

WorkoutMommy explains why we need great running shoes. I totally agree with her points in her post. Running shoes are for running only and you should get the best pair for your feet!

Trying Fitness writes about the flu and how to prevent getting the flu at the gym. My biggest fear in gyms: germs that carry sicknesses like the flu!

Elastic Waist gives a comparison of the treadmill and elliptical. I honestly like both, but found the elliptical to not be as bad on my knees. I like running, but running on the treadmill can get boring after awhile.

FitSugar explains the different between a strain and a sprain, and they are in fact, different! I wish I had this when my boyfriend and I went for that run – his knee has been hurting for a while, and I honestly think he sprained a muscle because he didn’t stretch enough! Stretching cannot be stressed enough, especially when you’re going for a long distance run.

Have a great weekend everyone, and stay warm!
