I understand the importance of being healthy and happy. There are so many great things out there that I have that were created by really smart and inspiring people. I just wanted to share the things that I have used that I like, and why. This is not a page to make you buy anything at all. But if you want to then go right ahead!! This page is always updated with new recommendations, as I only recommend products I truly believe in and have already tried out – so come back often!

Of course, I had to recommend my girl Jillian because she’s great, and her workouts do wonders for me! Yes, they are difficult at first, and you may feel like you’re going to pass out, but she inspires you to do more than you can because you can!
I personally love the 30 Day Shred. It’s a great quick workout that challenges you! You do 3 minutes of strength moves, 2 minutes of cardio moves, and 1 minute of ab moves in each circuit. There are 3 circuits. You’ll need free weights (I use 2 – 2lbs weights) and a mat if you don’t have a carpeted floor. There are 3 levels. Each level gets significantly more difficult, so I recommend working your way up.
Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism is another Jillian Michaels workout, which is more intense. WAY MORE INTENSE. It’s longer, which gets me scared sometimes. But honestly, it’s a good wholesome workout that really makes you work. It’s an aerobic workout that is circuit based. What’s the point of working out if you aren’t working, right? You’ll definitely feel like you are in this workout. You don’t need any equipment, which is convenient. It’s great to take along on vacation if you’re bringing your laptop with you. That way you have absolutely NO EXCUSE to not workout because the gym at your hotel charges you like $25 for a day.
No More Trouble Zones is another workout DVD by Jillian Michaels that is about 40 minutes long. You do need free weights and a mat like the 30 Day Shred and prepare to work here as well. I don’t think there is one Jillian Michaels DVD that doesn’t make you sweat. But expect to sweat up a storm here. She focuses on those stubborn areas that we all deal with such as flabby muffin tops, arms and saddlebags.
VERY IMPORTANT: Of course, if you’re new to working out, you definitely want to go to a doctor before starting ANY type of workout program.
