Home Remedies for Anal Fissures

Anal fissures is said to be tear skin around anus or open sores which can give you stabbing pain while stool passing and burning or inflammation. Hard stool or constipation people mostly get affected by this anal fissures or rectal fissures. Inflammation, itching, sometimes bleeding during stool passing and pain are the common symptoms of anal fissures. Sometimes the situation can be critical and you must take advice of your doctor.

Olive Oil:

Olive oil includes anti-inflammatory components, which is quite helpful in burning and pain causes anal fissures, it also lubricates your anus area and makes it slippery for stool passing. You can apply some olive oil on your affected area, or can mix some honey and beeswax with in equally amount of olive oil, mix well and apply with cotton on affected area, repeat this remedy 2 to 3 times in a day., in few day you will get the expected results. Aloe Vera:

Aloe Vera includes anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties which is beneficial in pain and swelling as well as in itching causes anal fissures. Its natural healing power gives you soothing effect instantly. Take some fresh aloe Vera and extract the transparent gel with the help of spoon of knife. Apply this gel directly on affected area, one can also mix some honey drops. Repeat this process 3 to 4 times in a day and until you feel better. Coconut Oil:

Coconut oil is also effective in anal fissures, it prevent you from itching as well as burning. Apply some coconut oil on your affected area with the help of cotton ball three times in a day. If you are suffering from constipation then try to add some coconut oil into your meal and cooking dishes.

Hot Bath:

Hot bath gives you a soothing effect and healing from pain. You just need to fill your bath tub with warm water and you can also add some drops of lavender oil into it; soak yourself for 15 to 20 minutes. Do this process daily once in a day.  

Comfrey:

Comfrey leaves and roots both are highly effective and having medicinal effect for relieving pain and itching as well as burning causes anal fissures. You can also apply ointments included comfrey. Add some dried comfrey into boiling water, simply off the flame and rest it for 10 minutes. Let the water cool down and apply this on affected area 2 to 3 times in a day, or you can also do compress with comfrey tea on affected area, repeat this process daily until you feel better, this is also a useful home remedy for anal fissures.
